You can use the Hue/Saturation menu to control the Adjustment Layers in many ways, including adjusting the Saturation and Lightness/Contrast values. * To the right of the Adjustment Layers button, you have a drop-down menu of settings that you can adjust. The Adjustment Layers button is only available when the Slice/Dice Tool is active. * Use the Adjustment Layers button to activate the Hue/Saturation adjustment layers and adjust the slider on the Advanced panel as shown in Figure 13-20.įigure 13-20. The adjustment layers button at the bottom of the tools palette is only available when the Slice/Dice Tool is active, and when the Slice/Dice Tool is active, you can use the buttons to adjust the hue slider and the contrast slider. This is achieved by using the hue slider, which increases the saturation of colors. However, the enhance tools increase the colorfulness of an image.
The tools to increase the clarity and luminosity are similar to the selections or burn tools that you learned about in previous chapters. These tools include the tools for changing the brightness, changing the contrast, changing the clarity, adjusting the color saturation, and increasing or reducing sharpness. The _Enhance_ tools can enhance an image by increasing the clarity and luminosity of an image and reducing color saturation.
